Les has made Crystal Vision & Better Hearing his home for the past 25 years making him our first and oldest employee. His career in optics spans over 40 years. Les is highly educated, skilled and knowledgeable. Les runs one of the last full service one hour optical labs in North America.

We are an honoured to have Katherine as our Chilliwack Optical Manager. Katherine joined Crystal Vision & Better Hearing June 2006. A friendly smile and genuine laugh are her trade marks. Katherine is an excellent problem solver with a critical eye for detail. Over the years Katherine has helped many clients see the world more clearly. Celeste began her journey with Crystal Vision & Better Hearing in February 2017 as a dedicated frame stylist. From the start, her ability to truly listen and connect with clients stood out. She has always gone above and beyond to educate customers about their vision and ensure each experience is positive, personalized, and seamless.
Over the years, Celeste discovered a deeper calling in hearing care. Her daily interactions with patients sparked a passion for helping people reconnect with the sounds that matter most. This growing interest inspired her to pursue the path of becoming a Hearing Instrument Practitioner. Now practicing under a conditional license, Celeste brings the same warmth, attentiveness, and commitment to excellence to her new role—helping patients hear better with the same care she once dedicated to their sight.
Brodie will greet you with his great smile when you walk in the door and if you need an opinion on a frame, he’s your guy! Brodie takes tremendous pride in a job well done and has gained enormous respect from his colleagues. Brodie treats his customers as family and does whatever is necessary to see that they leave completely satisfied.
As the oldest son of the company’s owner, Ryan brings a wealth of optical knowledge and experience to our Maple Ridge store. His attention to detail and incredible knowledge in both frame and lens design helps ensure your glasses not only look great but they work too. Not only is Ryan the manager of the Maple Ridge store, he is also one of our more advanced lab technicians for our in house edging service. Ryan strives to provide every customer with a customized eye care experience
Jackie has been a wonderful addition to Crystal Vision & Better Hearing! Jackie is a highly organized and detail-focused full-cycle bookkeeper; even the most complex situations are no match for Jackie. She puts emphasis on communicating and bridging the gap between what has been done and what others say can’t be accomplished, which makes her stand out above the rest.
Steve is licensed as an optician, contact lens, and hearing specialist in BC. This allows him to help clients in all faucets of our business. Steve enjoys helping people find great looking eyewear and hearing products to help people hear and see better. He finds it very rewarding to see how our services can help improve our clients lives. The one thing that makes Steve happy is a happy client. He is always trying to go the extra mile for both our clients and our staff. Steve believes in personal growth and works as a leader for the Crystal Vision and Better Hearing staff to grow as people to be the best that they can be.
Julie started as a hearing assistant in our Sevenoaks location in 2007. She was great with clients and was always ready to go the extra mile to make them happy. Julie was constantly seeking more responsibilities and showing she could handle them. So, in 2009 she was promoted to our accounting department to help with the books. She showed that she was extremely honest and thorough. We watched her develop into our main accounting person who literally ran everything from payroll to payables. During our transition year in 2015 Julie transferred to our marketing department as head of marketing. in a very short time, with a ton of work and dedication, she was not only able to continue on with the excellence we have traditionally shown in marketing, but to surpass it. Today Julie is our Operations Manager overlooking all aspects of Crystal Vision & Better Hearing. She is our heart and soul. A word of advice to any young person looking to get ahead in their role with us. Do what Julie Does!
