Les has made Crystal Vision & Better Hearing his home for the past 25 years making him our first and oldest employee. His career in optics spans over 40 years. Les is highly educated, skilled and knowledgeable. Les runs one of the last full service one hour optical labs in North America.
Amber brings a radiant energy to everything she does. With her warm, bubbly personality and contagious smile, she makes everyone feel instantly welcome and at ease. Luke has many years of experience working in the optical industry and has been immersed in the family business from a young age. As the son of the company’s owner, Luke jokes that he has been changing nose pads for as long as he can remember.

We are an honoured to have Katherine as our Chilliwack Optical Manager. Katherine joined Crystal Vision & Better Hearing June 2006. A friendly smile and genuine laugh are her trade marks. Katherine is an excellent problem solver with a critical eye for detail. Over the years Katherine has helped many clients see the world more clearly. Celeste began her journey with Crystal Vision & Better Hearing in February 2017 as a dedicated frame stylist, where her warm personality and genuine ability to connect with patients quickly made her a valued part of the team. She has always had a passion for helping people feel cared for, taking the time to listen, educate, and create positive experiences for every patient she works with.
Over the years, Celeste discovered a deeper passion for hearing care through her daily interactions with patients and families. Wanting to make an even greater impact, she pursued her education and became a Registered Hearing Instrument Practitioner. Today, Celeste combines her years of patient care experience with her knowledge of hearing health to help people reconnect with the sounds and conversations that matter most. Her compassionate approach, attentiveness, and commitment to personalized care continue to make a meaningful difference in the lives of the patients she serves.
Brodie will greet you with his great smile when you walk in the door and if you need an opinion on a frame, he’s your guy! Brodie takes tremendous pride in a job well done and has gained enormous respect from his colleagues. Brodie treats his customers as family and does whatever is necessary to see that they leave completely satisfied.
As the oldest son of the company’s owner, Ryan brings a wealth of optical knowledge and experience to our Maple Ridge location at Crystal Vision & Better Hearing His attention to detail and extensive expertise in both frame and lens design help ensure your glasses not only look great, but perform perfectly as well.
In addition to managing the Maple Ridge store, Ryan is also the company trainer and one of our advanced lab technicians for our in-house edging service. He is passionate about sharing his knowledge with the team while continuing to provide every customer with a customized and personalized eye care experience.
Jackie has been a wonderful addition to Crystal Vision & Better Hearing! Jackie is a highly organized and detail-focused full-cycle bookkeeper; even the most complex situations are no match for Jackie. She puts emphasis on communicating and bridging the gap between what has been done and what others say can’t be accomplished, which makes her stand out above the rest.
Steve is licensed as an optician, contact lens, and hearing specialist in BC. This allows him to help clients in all faucets of our business. Steve enjoys helping people find great looking eyewear and hearing products to help people hear and see better. He finds it very rewarding to see how our services can help improve our clients lives. The one thing that makes Steve happy is a happy client. He is always trying to go the extra mile for both our clients and our staff. Steve believes in personal growth and works as a leader for the Crystal Vision and Better Hearing staff to grow as people to be the best that they can be.
Julie began her career with Crystal Vision & Better Hearing in 2007. From the very beginning, she stood out for her dedication to clients, strong work ethic, and willingness to always go the extra mile.
Her drive to grow within the company led her into accounting and administrative leadership roles before transitioning into marketing during the company’s major transition in 2015. Through hard work, creativity, and commitment, Julie helped elevate our marketing initiatives while maintaining the high standards our company is known for.
Today, as Operations Manager, Julie oversees the day-to-day operations of our four locations, supporting our team, managing operational systems, coordinating marketing initiatives, and helping ensure an exceptional experience for both our staff and clients.
