We carry batteries in stock at all times, and can help with installing if needed. Batteries will typically last anywhere from three days to three weeks. This depends on the type of hearing instrument you have and the technology that it uses, as well as how high the volume is adjusted.
Batteries come in a range of sizes, and each hearing instrument will use a particular size. These batteries are specially designed to be lightweight and powerful. A universal color code system is in place to help you know which size is right for your own hearing instrument.
It is very important to store new batteries and dispose of used batteries where pets and children can never get to them, as they are small enough to be easily swallowed, and can cause serious internal damage. Also, they should not be stored near coins or other metal objects which may cause some batteries to short-circuit and leak or explode. Only remove paper tabs just before installing a new battery.
